Preparing for operation

Prerequisites for use

 The user must be standing securely during use.
 Sufficient freedom of movement must be available
for the user.
 The operating location must be sufficiently bright.
 The operating temperature must be –10 °C to
+40 °C.
 Prior to use, the TORSIOTRONIC
to adapt to the climatic conditions during
subsequent use for at least one hour.

Prior to initial use

The TORSIOTRONIC
®
rechargeable battery inserted. To prevent
premature discharge of the inserted rechargeable
battery, an isolation disc is fitted.
The isolation disc must be removed prior to initial
use. Proceed as follows:
 Release and remove the screw (1) with a Torx T8
screwdriver.
 Remove the cover (2) of the rechargeable battery
compartment.
 Remove the isolation disc (3).
 Dispose of the isolation disc.
 Place the cover onto the rechargeable battery
compartment.
 Press the cover on gently.
 Fasten the cover with the screw.
