Your ventilation system is an essential element for the comfort of your home.
NEVER TURN OFF YOUR VENTILATION UNIT.
Precautions must be taken to prevent gas from the exhaust pipe of gas appliances or other open fire ap-
pliances from flowing back into the room.
Do not operate the ventilation unit during sanding operations in the house: risk of rapid and irreparable
clogging of the various parts of the unit: fan, motor.
The installation and maintenance of this unit must be carried out by a person who is able to apply the ins-
tructions in this document.
In accordance with EN60335-1 §7.12 :
This appliance may be used by children of at least 8 years of age and by persons with persons with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or without experience or. This appliance may be used by
children aged 8 years and over and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lacking experience or knowledge, if they are properly supervised or if they have been given instructions
on the safe use of the appliance and are aware of the risks involved. Children must not play with the ap-
pliance. Cleaning and maintenance by the user must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
Cabinet fans CAB-PLUS are designed for ventilation applications:
• Indoor or outdoor installation
• Permanent ambiance temperature: -20°C / +50°C
• Relative humidity: max 95% non-condensing
• Atmosphere not potentially explosive
• Atmosphere with low salt content, without corrosive chemical agents
1.2 Safety instructions
• Wear appropriate IPE (Individual Protection Equipment) before any intervention.
• Before installing the cabinet fan, make sure that the support and placement are sufficiently resistant
to withstand the unit's weight and that of the accessories.
• Do not open the cover without first switching off the electrical power supply.
• If the work is to be performed inside the device, switch off the electrical power supply on the main
circuit breaker and make sure that no one can accidentally switch it on.
• Make sure that the moving parts are stopped.
• Make sure that the motor driven fans are not accessible from the connection taps (connection duct
or screened protection).
Before starting, check the following points :
• Make sure that the device does not contain any foreign parts.
• Make sure that all the components are attached in their original placements.
• Check manually that the fans do not rub or are not blocked.
• Check the earth connection.
• Make sure that the cover is properly closed.
1.3 Acceptance – Storage
In case of missing, non-conforming, or totally or partially damaged delivered products, the Purchaser must
in accordance with article 133-3 of the Commercial Code make written reservations on the transporter's
receipt and confirm them within seventy-two (72) hours by sending a recommended letter to the transpor-
ter, as well as a copy to the vendor. Acceptance of the equipment without any reservation will deprive the
Purchaser of any subsequent recourse against us.
The product must be stored in an area protected from bad weather, shocks and stains due to splashings
or splatterings of any kind during its transport from the supplier to the end customer and onto the worksite
before installation.
