5.- ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
After unpacking the machine, carefully check for
damaged or broken parts. If you find any damaged or
malfunctioning parts, replace them with original spare
parts from RUBI and contact RUBI's after-sales service.
This product requires assembly.
Prepare a stable surface and clear it of any other
materials for use as a surface for supporting the
machine.
Do not throw away the packaging material until you
have carefully inspected and satisfactorily used the
tool.
ATTENTION: Most of the loose parts are stored in the
water tank.
WARNING:
If a part is damaged or missing, do not use the tool until
the parts are replaced.
WARNING:
Do not connect the machine to the power source until it
is fully assembled.
5.1 Installation of the diamond blade
Installation of the diamond blade (Figure 2, 3)
Disconnect the machine and take away the tilting
table.
Fit the blade's inner plate on the shaft.
Place the diamond blade on the shaft and over the
sleeve on the inner plate, and push it flat against the
inner plate.
ATTENTION: Ensure that the arrows on the diamond blade
point in the anticlockwise direction.
Fit the blade's outer plate on the shaft.
Install the shaft nut on the arbor. Using the hexagonal
wrench for the nut and the shaft wrench, firmly
tighten the shaft nut.

ATTENTION: A 7-inch blade is the maximum capacity of
the saw. Never use a disc neither larger nor thicker.
5.2 I nstallation of the splash guard
Installation of the splash guard. (Figure 4, 5, 6)
Take away the tilting table.
Loosen and remove the screws located on the housing
under the table.
Slide the L-shaped splash guard support onto the
housing.
Replace the screws.
ATTENTION: Ensure that the guard support is aligned with
the cutting blade so that it does not interfere with the
material that is being cut.
Align the splash guard with the blade and slide it over
its support.
ATTENTION: Always set the splash guard horizontally to
the table and slightly above the thickness of the tile.
Install the hex screw through the guard and support.
Screw the splash guard knob onto the bolt and tighten
to the desired height.
Reinstall the tilting table.
5.3 Installation of the fence
Installation of the fence. (Figure 7)
Attach the rear part of the fence to the rear edge of
the saw table.
Lift the locking lever and lower the front part of the
fence to the saw table.
Adjust the fence to the desired position using the
scales on the cutting guide, located on the front and
rear of the table, in order to adjust the fence to the
desired cutting width.
Push the locking lever downwards to fix it to the saw
table.
5.4 Installation of the angle guide
Installation of the angle guide. (Figure 8)
Slide the angle guide over the fence guide.
Adjust to the desired angle using the angle scale and
tighten firmly with the angle guide knob.
With the fence at the desired width, secure it in
place.
5.5 Filling the water tank/changing the
water.

Locate the hole at the bottom of the water tank and
firmly push the drain plug in the hole.
Fill the water tank with clean water from the tap up to
the line. NOTE: The drain plug prevents overfilling.
Reposition or close the tilting table.
Changing the water:
Unplug the saw.
