6.- OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Your saw is equipped with an on-off switch which has an
incorporated lock function. This function is intended to
prevent non-authorised use.
6.1 For switching the saw on and off
To start your saw: (Figure 11)
•
With the lock key inserted in the switch, lift the switch
to START IT.
To stop your saw:
•
Press the switch key downwards to stop.
To lock your saw:
•
With the saw SWITCHED OFF, remove the lock key from
the switch and keep it in a safe place. ATTENTION: To
reduce the risk of accidental start-up, always ensure
that the switch is in the OFF position before plugging
the tool in to the power source.
ATTENTION: Ensure that the material to be cut is not in
contact with the blade before operating the switch to start
the saw. Otherwise, the part to be cut could move back
towards the user and cause serious personal injuries.
6.2 Use of the fence and angle guide
Use of the fence and angle guide (Figure 12)
•
Lift the fence locking lever to loosen it.
•
Adjust the fence to the desired position using the scale
located on the front and rear of the table, in order to
adjust the fence to the desired cutting width.
•
Push the locking lever downwards to tighten it firmly.
To make angle cuts:
•
Slide the angle guide over the fence.
•
Adjust to the desired angle using the angle scale and
tighten the angle guide knob firmly.
6.3 How to cut
Do not use scratched or cracked diamond blades.
Do not stop the blades using lateral pressure.
At the end of a day's work, empty the machine of water, as
prolonged immersion can deteriorate the blade.
Advance at a speed that is proportional to the blade's
cutting capacity. That way you will be able to ensure
that no materials come off that could cause accidents or
injury.
