Locate the brake junction bracket along the inside of the driver's side frame rail (Figure 3). Using a 13mm socket, remove

the retaining bolt and free the bracket from the frame rail. The retaining bolt will not be reused during the installation.

Locate any electrical cable mounting locations in the installation area. Carefully disconnect the cable mounting supports from
the driver's side frame rail.

Position the cross rails (item 1) on top of the frame rails. Insert (4) ½"-13 x 1-1/4" carriage bolts (item 11) into the

corresponding square holes on the cross rails (item 1). Using a bolt leader (item 17), thread the ½"-13 x 1-3/4" carriage bolt,
and 1/4" x 1" x 3" block (items 15-16) on to the leader. Feed the bolt leader through the frame locator hole on the inside of
the frame rail and through the bracket locator on the corresponding outer bracket (item 2 and 3) as shown in Figure 5. Align
the (4) ½"-13 x 1-1/4" carriage bolts (item 11) with the corresponding round holes on the outer brackets (items 2 and 3).
Loosely secure the outer brackets with a conical washer and nut (item 10 and 13) on each side as shown in Figure 6. Loosely
secure the cross rails (item 1) to the outer brackets (item 2 and 3) with (4) ½" flange nuts (item 12). DO NOT tighten at this
time. Fasteners should be hand tight but still allow movement in the brackets and cross bars.
