Connecting the cooling device
The cooling device can be operated with a 12 V to 24 V DC voltage supply.

NOTE
To avoid voltage drops and loss of performance, keep the cable
as short as possible and avoid joins.
Therefore avoid additional switches, plugs or power strips.
➤ Determine the required cross section of the cable in relation to the cable
length according to fig. 3, page 4.

NOTICE!
Make sure that the polarity is correct.
➤ Connect the lead with labelling to the positive terminal.
➤ Connect the lead with grooves to the earth.
➤ Before starting up the device for the first time, check whether the operat-
ing voltage and the battery voltage match (see type plate).
➤ Connect the cooling device
– as directly as possible to the poles of the battery or
– to a plug socket which is fuse protected with at least 15 A (at 12 volts)
or 7.5 A (at 24 volts).

NOTICE!
Disconnect the cooling device and other electric consumers from
the battery before you connect the battery to a quick charging
device.
Overvoltage can damage the electronics of the device.
