Getting Started with Your Phone

The Battery

Note
It is important to fully charge the
battery before initial use of the phone.
The phone comes with a
rechargeable battery. Keep the
battery charged while not in use
in order to maximize talk and
standby time. The battery charge
level is shown at the top right
corner of the LCD screen.

Installing the Battery

1. Press down on the center of
the battery cover using both
thumbs. Then slide the cover
downwards to remove it.
2. Align the battery contacts
with the terminals at the
bottom of the battery
compartment.

3. Press the battery down until it
clicks into place.
4. Place the battery cover over
the battery compartment and
slide it upwards to lock it into
place.

Removing the Battery

1. Make sure the power is off so
that you do not lose any
unsaved information.
2. Press down on the center of
the battery cover using both
thumbs. Then slide the cover
downwards to remove it.
3. Use the fingernail cutouts at
the top of the battery to lift
the battery out.
