Remove chips and similar matter only with the
machine at standstill.
Hold the power tool only at insulated housing
parts, if there is a possible hazard of making
contact with concealed electric cables or the
supply cable. Contact with live wires energizes
the metal parts of the housing and can cause
electric shock to the operator.
Wear hearing protection when working for a
longer period of time. High noise levels over a
prolonged period of time may affect your hearing.
Caution with hard screwdriving (driving of screws
with either a metric or an imperial thread into steel).
The head of the screw may rip off or high restoring
torques may be incurred at the handle.

Exchangeable chuck
(not KHE 24 SP, BHE 22): .
With a simple operation and without the need for
extra tools the SDS chuck is exchanged against
the keyless chuck.
Single-knob control
With onya single control knob the operating mode
(drilling, hammer drilling, chiselling, depending on
the model) is selected.

Metabo S-automatic safety clutch:
If the insertion tool jams or hooks, the power flow
to the engine will be restricted. Because of the high

If the brushes are completely worn, the machine
switches off automatically.
With VTC electronics: A LED wams before the
brushes are completely worn.

he Metabo CODE! System is an electronic anti-
theft device with which you can lock your Metabo
machines (if fitted with CODE!) to protect them
from abuse. Once locked, a machine can no longer
operate and therefore cannot be used by a
potential thief.
