ceed the internal maximum
filling level mark.
Fill the unit so that the water

level is definitely between
the minimum and maximum
indicator line.
Put the unit back onto the base

station.
Plug the plug into the electric
‹
socket.
Push the on/off switch.
‹
The unit is now switched on.
‹
As soon as boiling stops, the
‹
unit automatically shuts off.
The indicator light extinguishes.
‹
If desired, you can press the on/
‹
off switch again to boil the wa-
ter once more. However, before
doing that, please wait about 30
sec. after the unit automatically
shut itself off.
Lime filter
The removable lime filter prevents
lime scale being poured out.
Dry running and over-
heating protection
This unit is equipped with a dry
running and overheating protec-
tion system. If you ever operate the
unit without any water or with too
little water, the unit shuts itself off.
Wait a moment until the unit has
cooled off. Fill the unit with water
and continue as usual.
Lift-off shut-off
If you happen to lift the unit off the
base station while boiling, the unit
shuts itself off. This is the so-called
lift-off shut-off.

Make sure the unit is

nected to the mains.
Do not use any aggressive or

abrasive cleaning agents and
do not use any solvents.
Do not scratch off stubborn

soiling with hard objects.
► Do not rinse the unit off
in water or immerse it into
water.
► Let the unit completely cool
off before you clean it.
