Finally, insert the sensor connector (H)
on the underside of the HmIP-ESI into
the connection port (E), until it audibly
clicks into place (see
6.2.3.3 Adapter 3 Elster
(Kromschröder, Honeywell)
To mount the sensor, proceed as fol-
lows:
• Feed the plug-connector end of
the connection cable (H) through
the opening in the adapter.
• Pull the cable through until the ES-
GAS-2 electronics unit (G) reaches
the adapter.
Insert the ES-GAS-2 electronics unit
(G) so the guide ribs fit precisely in the
guide rails of the adapter:
• A Gas meter BK-G4 guide rails 1
and 3 or
• B Gas meter BK-4 guide rails 2 and
4.

• First snap the left side of the ad-
apter into the opening provided
in the gas meter and then swivel it
upwards to the right.
• Fasten the adapter to the gas meter
with the nut and bolt provided.

• Finally, insert the sensor connector

ESI into the connection port (E),
until it audibly clicks into place
