19.1 Remedying Lawn Scarifier or Battery Faults
Fault LEDs on the
battery
The lawn scari‐ 1 LED flashes
fier does not start green.

Cause
The battery charge
state is too low.

Remedy
► Charge the battery.
► Remove the battery.
► Allow the battery to cool down or warm
up.
► Remove the battery.
► Clean the electrical contacts in the bat‐
tery compartment.
► Fit the battery.
► Switching the lawn scarifier on.
► If 3 LEDs still flash red: do not use the
lawn scarifier and consult a STIHL spe‐
cialist dealer.
► Remove the battery.
► Allow the lawn scarifier to cool down.
