VII.- HEATER OPERATION
Before using your water heater, make sure you read and follow the instructions in this manual
and all the product labels.
WARNING! Make sure your heater is completely full of water before starting it; if you
start your heater without water, it will damage the electrical resistance (heating
element), and will void the warranty.
OPERATION AND TEMPERATURE REGULATION
Temperature regulation
To select the temperature, turn on the hot water tap and let the water flow through the water
heater. The digital display lights up and shows the current temperature setting.
Press + to increase or - decrease the temperature.
•
•
The temperature can be adjusted between 30 °C - 50 °C.
•
An agreeable temperature for a shower or bath is between 41 °C and 43 °C.
•
The recommended temperature adjustment is 48 °C, which provides hot water for all the
household needs with the maximum flow.
•
We recommend not exceeding the maximum temperature to avoid burns, especially in
children and elderly persons. Also, high temperatures produce more lime deposits in
water heating appliances; in these cases, we recommend installing a temperature mixing
valve to avoid serious burns.
