• Be sure to consider the special requirements for working in spaces with risk of fire or explosion.
• Be cautious when welding bicycle frames or forks, prevent parts that are part of the steering of vehicles,
trailer tow bars from fusing or welding together, preventing the normal movement of the structure.
• Make sure the machine is adequately ventilated, do not locate it too close to walls with a minimum sepa-
ration of 10 cm. Do not rest the machine on the vents. Do not place the machine in a lateral and horizontal
position. The welder is not designed to be mounted on racks or on trolleys. Placing the welder at inclina-
tions greater than 10 ° from the horizontal may result in its overturning.
• Electronic devices near electronic welding machines can experience interference due to the high levels of
current produced during the process. Turn off nearby computer equipment as a precaution. If interference
occurs outside of the immediate area where the process is taking place, have a qualified electrical techni-
cian check the grounding of the electrical connection used to operate the machine.
• The welding process can affect medical devices such as pacemakers. If you are a user of these devices
stay away and consult your doctor.
• Never use the machine for other activities or operations other than welding.
• Moving parts, such as fans, can cause personal injury. Stay away from them and do not insert objects on
them or obstruct them.
• Do not move the gas cylinder when the regulator valve is in place. Attach the gas cylinder securely,
upright to a wall rack or special cart.
• Always close the gas cylinder valve and then the regulator valve.
• Additional safety considerations are required when working under any of the following hazardous condi-
tions: In wet locations; metal structures such as floors, grates, or scaffolding; being in difficult positions
such as sitting, kneeling or lying down, when there is a high risk of accidental contact with the workpiece,
when the work area has flammable materials, when welding at height.
