• The cooking time in the chart refers to the quantities stated. Smaller quantities may take less
time to cook and larger quantities may take longer time to cook.
• The times stated are only a guide.
• Time will vary due to a number of factors e.g. quantities of food and oil, size of food pieces,
starting temperature of the food and personal preference.
• Always ensure that food is piping hot and thoroughly cooked before eating.
1. Make sure the deep fryer is switched off as well as the thermostat and timer knobs, and
unplug the machine before cleaning and maintenance.
2. Allow the oil or fat to cool down.
Caution: Do not move the deep fry and the contents until it is completely cooled down.
3. If the deep fryer is not used regularly, it is recommended to store the oil or liquid fat after
cooling in a container preferably in the fridge or some other cool place. Open the lid and
remove the basket. Filter the oil or fat through a fine sieve into the container to remove food
particles from the oil or fat.
4. If the deep fryer contains solid fat, allow the fat to solidify in the deep fryer and store the
fat in the deep fat fryer.
5. Empty the fryer and clean the inner part of oil tank with a paper towel, then wipe
with a wet cloth dipped in soapy water. Wipe with a damp cloth and allow it to dry.
Warning: Never immerse the oil compartment (with power cord) in water and do not clean
these parts under running water.
6. Clean regularly the outer part of the fryer with a damp cloth and dry it with a soft and
clean towel.
Note: Do not use abrasive detergents.
7. Clean the basket and the handle in warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before reusing.
8. Dry completely before storage.
9. Store the appliance in a dry, well-ventilated location which is out of reach of children, when
the deep fryer is not in use.
10. Store in its original package when not using for a long time to avoid soiling.
Important: Never wet the electrical part of the unit.
In compliance with Directives: 2012/19/EU and 2015/863/EU on the restriction of the use of dangerous
substances in electric and electronic equipment as well as their waste disposal. The symbol with the
crossed dustbin shown on the package indicates that the product at the end of its service life shall be
collected as separate waste. Therefore, any products that have reached the end of their useful life must
be given to waste disposal centres specialising in separate collection of waste electrical and electronic
equipment, or given back to the retailer at the time of purchasing new similar equipment, on a one for one
basis. The adequate separate collection for the subsequent start-up of the equipment sent to be recycled,
treated and disposed of in an environmentally compatible way contributes to preventing possible nega-
tive effects on the environment and health and optimises the recycling and reuse of components making
up the apparatus. Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves application of the administrative
sanctions according to the laws.
