Note
After the charging process, first discon-
nect the connection to the vehicle chassis
(black clamp) then the connection to the
battery (red clamp).
Note
Do not remove the device charger
clamps while the "Operating" indication
is illuminated. After 30 s, the device
switches off automatically. The device
can be switched off at any time using the
"ON/OFF" button.

Remote start of a vehicle engine

Connect the charger clamps of the device to the
vehicle as described.

Press the "ON/OFF" button.
The "Operating" indicator lights up.

Start the vehicle engine.
Attention!
Do not turn the engine starter for longer than

15 s.
If the vehicle does not start after two attempts,

the battery is not the cause of the fault.

After you have turned off the device, remove the
charger clamps from the vehicle as described.

Wind up the cable.
▸
Stow the charger clamps in the place provided for
this purpose.
Special case: Deeply discharged bat-
tery
If the vehicle battery is deeply discharged, the
device does not detect the correct polarity and
disables switching on.
In this case proceed as follows:

Connect the charger clamps of the device to the
vehicle; ensure correct polarity.
▸
Press and hold the "ON/OFF" and "Test" buttons
for 3 s.
While doing so the three "charging state" indica-

tors light up.
The "Operating" indicator lights up.

Start the vehicle engine.
▸
After the device has turned off, remove the char-
ger clamps from the vehicle.
▸
Wind up the cable.
▸
Stow the charger clamps in the place provided for
this purpose.
Charging the device
The device charges automatically if it is connected to
a vehicle with a functioning 12V battery.
During troubleshooting on a vehicle with a dis-
charged battery, the device starts the vehicle and
then immediately recharges itself within a few
seconds in that it draws the energy it requires from
the circuit of the started vehicle.
If, however, the device is discharged before use, you
can recharge it inside a few seconds by connecting
the battery charger clamps to any nearby vehicle
equipped with a 12 V battery and whose engine is
operational.

serviceable vehicle, ensuring correct polarity.

Start the vehicle engine.

Press the "ON/OFF" button.
