Step 5 – Once the blade is adjusted to zero gap or
your liking, gently tighten the two screws on each
side of the blade while holding the zero-gap tool
in place. If the blade is not adjusted to satisfaction
after testing, repeat the adjusting process.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
1. This device requires one 18650 lithium-ion battery.
2. Since the battery is sensitive to high temperatures, when storing the battery, keep
it in a cool, dry place.
3. Never put battery into a fire.
4. Switch off device after use.
5. Keep batteries away from children, especially the batteries that are small enough
to ingest.
6. If a battery is ingested, seek immediate medical help.
7. Never open, crush, puncture or disassemble a battery.
8. Dispose of battery according to any state and local regulations.
9. Do not dispose of rechargeable battery as solid waste.
10. The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is recycled.
11. The battery is to be disposed of safely.
12. The appliance must be disconnected from any power supply when removing the
battery.
BATTERY DISPOSAL/RECYCLING
Lithium-ion batteries contain various materials that must be recycled and disposed of
properly. Do not dispose of in the municipal waste system.
Under various state and local laws, it is illegal to dispose of this battery in the municipal
waste stream. The EPA-certified RBRC™ battery recycling seal on the lithium-ion

battery indicates Conair is voluntarily participating in an industry program to collect and
recycle this battery at the end of its useful life, when taken out of service in the United
States or Canada. The RBRC™ program provides a convenient alternative to placing
the used lithium-ion battery in the trash or the municipal waste stream, which may
be illegal in your area. Please call 1-800-8-BATTERY™ for information on lithium-ion
battery recycling and disposal bans/restrictions in your area. Conair's involvement in
this program is part of our commitment to preserving our environment and conserving
our natural resources.

IMPORTANT:
• The battery is to only be replaced by a BaBylissPRO-authorized service center.
• The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is recycled.
• The battery is to be recycled as a lithium-ion battery.
To remove the battery block for disposal or recovery, follow these instructions:
1. Disconnect the trimmer from household outlet.
2. Discharge the battery pack completely before removing.
3. Remove the 2 screws in the bottom housing cap. Remove the cap and slide the
handle off the unit.
4. Remove the blade set using the provided screwdriver. Proceed to remove the 2
screws under the blade set and the 2 screws toward the base of the housing.
5. Open the trimmer and remove the battery using wire cutters.
6. Take to an authorized battery recycling center and recycle entire battery unit.
CONTAINS A LITHIUM-ION BATTERY. MUST BE COLLECTED, RECYCLED
