WARNING
If the battery pack or charger is damaged, replace
the battery pack or the charger.
Stop the machine and wait until the motor stops
before you install or remove the battery pack.
Read, understand, and follow the instructions in
the battery and charger manual.
1. Align the lift ribs on the battery pack with the
grooves in the battery compartment.
2. Push the battery pack into the battery compartment
until the battery pack locks into place.
3. When you hear a click, the battery pack is installed.

1. Push and hold the battery release button.
2. Remove the battery pack from the machine.

OPERATION
NOTE
Remove the battery pack and keep hands clear of the
trigger switch lockout when you move the machine.
WARNING
Examine the saw chain tension before each use.
Examine the sprocket cover nuts are tightened before
each use. Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained power tools.
10.1 EXAMINE THE CHAIN
LUBRICATION
NOTE
Do not use the machine without sufficient chain
lubrication.

1. Examine the lubricant level of the machine from the
oil indicator.
2. Add more lubricant if it is necessary.
10.2 START THE MACHINE

1. Pull the trigger switch lockout.
2. Press the trigger switch.

If the saw chain does not stop when the trigger switch
is released, remove the battery to stop the power
supply to the machine. Have your authorized servicing
dealer repair the machine before using the machine
again.

PRUNING OPERATION

All over head electrical conductors and
communications wires can have electricity flow
with high voltages. This unit is not insulated
against electrical current. Never touch wires
directly or indirectly when pruning, otherwise
serious injury or death may result.
The area within a 15 m radius of the product is a
danger zone. Be careful to observe the following
precautions while working with the product.
Do not allow children and other people or pets
to enter the danger zone.
WARNING
Do not start or operate unit unless all guards and
protective covers are properly assembled to unit.
Moving parts can amputate fingers or cause
severe injuries. Keep hands, clothing and loose
objects away from all openings.
Always switch off the unit, remove the battery
and make sure all moving parts have come to
a complete stop before removing obstructions,
clearing debris, or servicing unit.
Keep a solid stance
Maintain footing and balance at all times. Do not
stand on slippery, uneven or unstable surfaces. Do
not work in odd positions or on ladders. Do not
overreach.
Operate the product only from the ground or out of
an approved bucket lift.
Always evaluate the branches to be pruned for
hazards such as loose dead branches which may
fall and strike the operator or helpers. Remove
hazards before pruning.
Plan retreat path from falling objects.
Cut branches bounce when striking ground.
Check that shoulder harness is adjusted for safe,
comfortable operation.
Turn the product off when moving from tree to tree.
Avoid any contact with saw chain.Failure to observe
these precautions could cause serious injury.
When transporting the unit, switch off the unit,
remove the battery, install the guide bar cover,
