Adopt proper posture that allows counter-reacting against normal or unexpected tool movements caused by the torque.
Be careful at working environment, a grinder may easily cut.
Do not use grinding wheels and tools designed for grinding lateral surfaces, for cutting.
Do not use cutting wheels for milling.
Self-locking grinding discs should be placed concentrically on grinder's pad.
After grinder's switch off do not put aside the tool and wait till the rotating tool stops completely.
Prior to installation of additional accessories make sure that the maximum rotational speed of accessories is higher than rotational speed of the
grinder. It is forbidden to use accessories with chucks of other dimensions that specifi ed in user manual. Inserted tool must be tightly and securely
attached to tool chuck. Do not use sleeves or downsizing rings to match spindle diameters of the tool and grinding wheel.
Grinding element should be kept and used in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Do not use damaged accessories. Accessories that
have any defects must be immediately replaced with new and serviceable ones. Check the condition of spindle and tool chucks with regard to
wear and damage.
Do not operate the grinder within explosion hazard zone. Sparks produced during the work may cause a fi re.
After installation of grinding wheel start the tool for approx. 30 seconds in safe position. Stop the tool immediately if you observe big oscillations or
other failures of the grinder.
Any irregularities should be removed before next start of the grinder.
Make sure, that the grinder's rotational speed is not higher than the one specifi ed on name plate.
When processing some materials, poisonous or fl ammable vapours or dusts may be generated. Work in well ventilated rooms and use personal
safety equipment.
When selecting protective measures take into account the type of material processed.
Make sure that sparks and waste generated during the work do not pose a threat.
Use personal safety equipment such as gloves, apron, helmet.
In case of dropping the tool with grinding wheel, check the condition of grinding wheel before re-starting.
USING TOOL
Make sure before each use that none element of pneumatic system is damaged. In case any damages are found, immediately replace with new
defect-free system components.
Before each use of pneumatic system, moisture condensed inside the tool, compressor and cables should be dried out.
Connecting the tool to pneumatic system
Drawing shows the recommended method of connecting the tool to pneumatic system. Method presented will ensure the most eff ective use of tool
and also will prolong its service life.
Insert few drops of oil of SAE 10 viscosity, to air inlet.
Screw in to the thread of air inlet the proper tip that allows connecting air supply hose, tightly and securely. (II)
Attach proper tip on the tool driver. When working with pneumatic tools use only accessories adjusted to work with impact tools.
Set proper direction of rotation. F letter indicates rotation in clockwise direction, R letter - rotation opposite to clockwise direction.
Wherever possible, adjust the pressure (torque).
Connect the tool to pneumatic system using a hose with internal diameter of 10 mm / 3/8". Make sure the strength of hose is at least 1.38MPa.
(III)
Start the tool for few seconds making sure that no suspicious sounds or oscillations may be found.
Assembly and replacement of accessories (IV)
Make sure that the maximum rotational speed of accessories is higher than rotational speed of the grinder. Follow recommendations of manufacturers
of grinding wheels with regard to rotational speed and length of mandrel to be found on the spindle.
Grab the spindle and unscrew the locking nut till it is possible to attach the accessory.
Attach the accessory so that there is at least 10 mm of mandrel left on the spindle.
Using wrenches, tight the locking nut tightly and securely on the spindle.
Working with grinder
Select the right tool for particular type of work. Before the work let the grinding wheel reach the maximum rotational speed. Only rotating grinding
