Remark: The content of this manual applies for all listed items
unless specified otherwise. The appearance may vary from the
shown illustrations.
Power connection
• The appliance has a terminal block located on the rear wall.
• Open the cover of the termial block at the bottom using a
screwdriver to gain access.
• Pass the cable through the cable press, connecting the live
conductor to the terminal marked "L", the neutral conductor
to the terminal marked "N" and the earth conductor to the ter-
minal marked by the grounding symbol. The earth conductor
must be longer than the others so that in the event of pulling it
is the last to become detached.
• Close the cover of the terminal block.
• An H05VV-F flexible power cable should be used and the sec-
tion of the conductors must be at least 3x1,5mm
green cable for the earth connection.
• Make sure that the power cable does not come into contact
with hot surfaces.
• The appliance must be connected to the network by means of
a standarised plug on a 16A socket; the plug socket must be in
a clearly visible position and must be easily accessible so that
it can be disconnected from the power supply.
• If a fixed installation is used, as previously said, the cable must
be connected to a circuit breaker that is appropriate to the load
(16A) and the minimum distance between the contacts ust be
more than 3mm; remember that the yellow/green conductor
(earth conductor) must never be disconnected.
Water connection
Water inlet
• The appliance must be connected to a clean water supply via
the solenoid valve located on the back, always interposing a
stopcock with a pressure reducer set at 1,5 bar and with a car-
tridge filter. The appliance must be connected to a cold water
supply that is transformed into steam inside the chamber.
• The supplied water must meet the following conditions:
- temperature between 15-25°C;
- total hardness between 4-8° French degrees.
• A water softener should always be installed upstream of the
appliance in order to maintain the hardness of the water within
the above values. If the appliance is operated with water with
higher hardness values, scale will form on the walls of the
cooking chamber.
• Damage caused by scale are not covered by the warranty.
• Regulations in some countries might require a check valve to
be fitted at the mains supply inlet.
Water drainage
• The appliance has a water drain located at the back. The con-
nection to the water supply must be made directly to the end of
the stainless steel drainage pipe.
• The drainage system must consist of stiff pipes and withstand
temperatures above 100°C.
• Do not reduce or constrict drainage pipes under any circum-
stances. The end of the pipe has to lead directly into a collect-
ing funnel of the drain.
• If the drainage pipe clogs, it might lead to steam escaping
through the door and unpleasant smells appearing inside the
cooking chamber.
Preparation before use
• Remove all protective packaging and wrapping.
• Check that the device is in good condition and with all accesso-
ries. In case of incomplete or damaged delivery, please contact
the supplier immediately. In this case, do not use the device.
• Before use ensure that no non-proper objects (instruction
booklets, plastic bags or anything else) or residues of deter-
gents are present in the chamber of the equipment; likewise,
make sure that the smoke discharge is free of obstruction and
there are no flammable materials in its vicinity.
• Clean the accessories and the appliance before use (See ==>
Cleaning & Maintenance).
• Make sure the appliance is completely dry.
• Place the appliance on a horizontal, stable and heat resistant
surface that is safe against water splashes.
. Use yellow/
• Keep the packaging if you intend to store your appliance in the

future.
• Keep the user manual for future reference.
NOTE! Due to manufacturing residues, the appliance may emit a
light odor during the first few uses. This is normal and does not
indicate any defect or hazard. Make sure the appliance is well
ventilated.
Operating instructions
