PREPARATIONS
1. If your watch has stopped running, rewind it by
hand before performing any corrections or adjust-
ments (about 10 clockwise turns of the crown).
2. You can be sure that performing adjustment is
safe if you first set your watch to 7 a.m.; observe the
color of the day/night indicator (LOCAL)

SETTING THE TIME –
HOME TIME
The reference time for your watch is the time at
home. To set the time, first actuate one of the cor-
rection pushers
or
as many times as needed to
superpose the skeletonized and solid hour hands
and to display the same color in the day/night indi-
cator apertures (HOME)
pull the crown gently all the way out and move the
hands in either direction. The day/night indicator
in the aperture (HOME)
you have set the correct time (white = from 6 a.m. to
6 p.m.; blue = from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.). Once you have
set the correct time, push the crown home again.
Your watch has a stop-seconds mechanism that halts
the seconds hand as soon as you pull the crown out
to position 2. This allows you to synchronize your
watch with an acoustic time signal to one-second
accuracy. As soon as you push the crown home (posi-
tion 1), the seconds hand will start running again.
