DISPLAY OF A SECOND
TIME ZONE – LOCAL TIME
Before you set a second time zone , check the day/
night indicator (HOME)
two superposed hour hands indicate the correct time
at home and that the day/night indicator correctly
displays daytime or nighttime hours, for instance
8 a.m. or 8 p.m.
To set the local hour hand
time zone, follow these steps:
- If you are traveling eastbound, press the correc-
tion pusher at 8 o'clock to move the solid hand
clockwise by as many hours as the two time zones
are apart (press once = +1 hour).
- If you are traveling westbound, press the cor-
rection pusher
at 10 o'clock to move the solid
hand counterclockwise by as many hours as the
two time zones are apart (press once = -1 hour).

Note: When the two hour hands are separate, the skele-
tonized hand continues to display the time in your home
time zone, and the day/night aperture (HOME)

As soon as you have returned to your home time zone
(normal place of residence or work), simply press the
correction pusher (+1 hour) or (-1 hour) as many
times as needed to superpose the two hour hands
