INSTALLING/REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK
NOTICE:
The fuel-gauge circle on the LCD screen indicates the battery-charge level
(Fig. 8). Fully charge your battery pack before first use.
To install battery pack (Fig. 10)
1. Align the ribs of the battery pack
with the mounting slots in the chain
saw's battery port.
2. Slide the battery pack into the
machine until it snaps into position.
WARNING:
latch on the chain saw snaps in place and
the battery pack is secured to the chain saw before beginning the operation. Failure
to securely seat the battery pack could cause the battery pack to fall out, resulting in
serious personal injury.
To remove battery pack (Fig. 11)
WARNING:

1. Hold the battery pack in the palm of
your hand.
2. Press the battery release button with your thumb and the battery pack will
disengage from the latch.
3. Grasp the battery pack and remove it from the chain saw.
