Design
The complete sawing unit consists of the sawing support [1] - with rotating swivelling arm [2], the saw motor [3] which
drives the saw blade and the two feed motors [22] for the longitudinal and [23] for the dip feed. On the working spindle
of the swivelling arm the saw blade [8] is fixed with spindle flange [12] and blade flange [9].
On normal sawing works the saw blade is in doing so fixed on the blade flange [9] which is screwed onto the working
spindle with a hexagon head screw [10] M12x25 10.9.
On flush cutting, i.e. works in which the saw blade is being guided almost flush along the wall the saw blade has to
be fixed with six hexagon head screws [11] M8x10-10.9 on the spindle flange [12].
Your WS 76H moves on the guide-way [20] by sliding guides [19] made of a special material composition, thus a
vibration free and long living usage is possible. On the opposite side of the saw blade the saw basis is guided by two
guide rolls [15] whose eccentric axes are assembled movably on the guide rail [20].
The guide-ways are extruded of a solid aluminium alloy and wear protected by lateral guide profiles made of stainless
steel.
The guide-way is fixed by clamping paws [26] on at least two clamping brackets [25] that are doweled on the working
place. Preferably use impact anchors with 16mm diameter in concrete. Assemble both fixing screws [29] in these
dowels, via which you assemble the mounting brackets [25] preferably with hex collar nut [30].
The WS 76H, resp. its electrical parts like motors and electric connecters are designed in protection class IP55 and
thus jet water protected.
The saw motor is water cooled, i.e. the cooling and cleaning water for the saw blade flows through the cooling helix
of the motor before being lead through the working spindle directly to the middle of the tool.
The WS 76H is operated via the converter FU15D which takes complete control of the saw together with the hand
control WS7556F.
3.2.1
Mains plug
The WS 76H is fitted with a multipole plug which is connected with the converter FU15D via the included motor cable.
3.2.2
Gear
In the rotation arm there is a oil lubricated gear integrated which adjusts the motor speed to the required peripheral
speed.
An integrated overload clutch absorbs the peak overload.
3.2.3
Converter
The converter FU15D is fitted in a small, convenient, water-cooled aluminium case of protection class IP55. It
converts the mains frequency of 50-60 Hz to the selected frequency for the WS76H. Further more it takes control of
both dc motors and voltage supply. The FU15D is a multifunctional intelligent converter by which all WEKA high
frequency machines can be operated. The converter thereby recognizes automatically the connected machines and
sets the concerning parameters for the machines on its own. Therefore please regard the operators manual of the
FU15D.
3.2.4
Hand Control
By the hand control the saw can be started and stopped, as well the feed drives can be controlled. Further more the
LEDs below the buttons show that these are active. The three more LEDs show functions and faults.
The motor speed can be increased or decreased in steps of 100 1/min by pressing the start button:
short pressing
< 1 Second
long pressing
> 1 Second
