The batterycontainscorrosivefluidand toxic material- HANDLE
WITH CARE.Keepawayfrom children.Do notpuncture,
disassemble,mutilate,or incinerate.Explosivegasescould be vented
during chargingor discharging.Use in a well ventilatedarea,away
from sourcesof i nition.
IMPORTANT: A lwaysrechargemowerfully.The chargeris a two stage
charger.Thefirst stage,equalize,suppliesa highervoltageto the
batteries.This helpsspeedchargetime and balancethe charge
acrossthe individual b atteries. The secondstage,float,suppliesa
lowervoltage. This preventsthebatteriesfrom experiencing
overcharging damageand also"topsoff" the batterycharge.
Dependingon batteryconditionthe equalizestagewill completein
approximately 8 hours. Whenthe equalizestage is completethe
charger'sgreen LEDwill stop blinking. This starts thefloat stage.
Duringthefloat stage thechargersgreenLEDwill be on continuously.
The float stage will"top off" the batteriesin approximately 4-6 hours,
again,dependingon the conditionof the battery.However, a full 14
hourchargeis alwaysrecommended.
NOTE:It is recommended that the mowerbe chargedonce everytwo
monthsduringstorage.
IMPORTANT: A lwaysdisconnectbatterycharger(or extensioncord,
if used)from the electricaloutlet first, thendisconnectbatterycharger
from mower.

2. Depressstarterbuttonon the motor/bladecontrol.
3. Pull motor/bladecontrolhandle up againstupperhandle.
4. Releasestarterbutton whenmotorstarts.

USING YOUR LAWN MOWER

Be surethat lawnis clearof stones,sticks,wires,or otherobjects

be accidentallythrownby the mowerin any directionand cause
seriouspersonalinjuryto the operatorand others.
If youstrikea foreignobject,stop themotor,and removethe key.
Thoroughlyinspectthe mowerfor any damage,and repairthe
damagebeforerestartingand operatingthe mower.Excessive
vibrationof the mowerduringoperationis an indicationof damage.
The unitshouldbe promptlyinspectedand repaired.
• Whenusingthe side discharge,the mosteffectivemowingpattern
isone that allowsthe clippingsto dischargetowardsthe uncutpart
of the lawn.
DONOT usemowerin therain.
Fora healthylawn,alwayscut off one-thirdor less of the total
lengthof the grass.
Forbest results,do not cut wet grass becauseit tendsto stick to
the undersideof the deck preventing proper mulchingor discharge
of grass clippings.New or thickgrass may requirea narrowercut.
