BASIC OPERATIONS
LOADING DISCS ~ EY
Up to a total of 7 compact discs can be inserted into the unit.
1 Press the CD button.
2 Press one of the DISC DIRECT PLAY buttons to
select a disc tray and open the disc compartment.
The selected button lights up.
If the tray does not open, press the & OPEN/CLOSE button.
3 Load a disc with the label side up and press the
+ OPEN/CLOSE
button to close the disc
compartment.
DISPLAY
© Total playing time of the selected disc
@® Music calendar (only the first 20 tracks are displayed)
@ Total number of tracks on the selected disc
@ Disc tray number with a loaded disc
© Empty disc tray, Load a disc as necessary.
The disc tray number may not disappear even if the disc
tray is empty. After the unit detects each disc tray, the disc
'tray number will disappear.
Do not piace more than one disc on one disc tray.
PLAYING DISCS ~
Load the discs.
@To
play
discs
in the dise
compartment
continuously, press the <> button.
The first played disc number flashes on the DISC DIRECT
PLAY button, and the remaining buttons lights up.
@®To play one disc only, press one of the DISC
DIRECT PLAY buttons.
The selected disc is played once.
Only the selected DISC DIRECT PLAY button flashes.
DISPLAY
@ Playing time of track
@ Number of track being played flashes.
@ Number of track being played
To stop play, press the ll button.
To pause piay, press the II button.
To search for a particular point, keep the «#¢ or PP button
pressed and release the button at the desired point.
To skip to the beginning of a track, press the <<
or >>
button repeatedly.
To remove discs, press one of the DISC DIRECT PLAY buttons
and the @ OPEN/CLOSE button.
To start play when the power is off (Direct Play Function)
Press the CD bution or one of the DISC DIRECT PLAY buttons.
'The power is turned on and play begins.
* To replace discs before play, press the & OPEN/CLOSE button.
