Using the barbecue
This barbecue can be used to cook meat, seafood, fish and vegetables al fresco.
WARNING: RISK OF BURNS / CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING / FIRE
•
Never use the barbecue indoors or in an enclosed space, e.g. houses, tents,
caravans, motor homes, or boats, as there is a risk of carbon monoxide
poisoning.
•
The barbecue will become very hot. Do not touch any part of the barbecue
while it is in use or cooling down. Always wear oven gloves when using the
barbecue.
•
Keep the barbecue at least 1.5 metres away from any flammable objects, such
as wooden fences or garden furniture, and at least 15 cm away from any walls.
•
Never move the barbecue while it is hot. Allow it to cool down completely
before moving it.
•
Never use any kind of ignition fluid to start or restart a fire.
•
Do not use excessive oil or grease when barbecuing food. Too much oil or
grease can produce larger-than-normal flames or even an out-of-control
barbecue fire. If necessary, use a basting brush to apply a thin layer of oil
or grease to food.
•
Do not use the barbecue if any of its components have not been correctly
assembled.
•
Do not wear synthetic clothing, or clothes with loose or flowing sleeves when
lighting or using the barbecue.
•
Do not use the barbecue when there is a strong wind.
