IMPORTANT: If the boiler is operating while full of ash or residues, that might stretch the burn pot and its
support, the ashtray basket and even the fire basket, being the cause of bad operation or possible breakdown.
This is necessary to ensure correct operation and maintain the stove's life duration. When winter ends,
contact your provider (if he did not contact you) and meet to carry out this maintenance; the following shall be done
(the stove must always be disconnected from power):
5.6.
Cleaning the fireplace.
In addition to daily cleaning carried out with great attention, the following items must be cleaned:
Heat exchanger pipes.
Burn pot.
Burn pot support.
Ash box.
Screws of mobile parts.
Air entrance pipe.
5.7.
Cleaning of the heat exchanger. CAUTION! THE BOILER MUST BE UNPLUGGED BEFORE THIS OPERATION
(very important).
Open side doors and remove the screws securing the boiler cover (2 on each side with torx heads and 2 in
the back with allen head). Once the cover has been removed, open the upper door for cleaning of the
exchanger and the door of the home to gain access to the front cover of the exchanger, which shall be
removed. Once we have full access to the exchanger, tubes shall be cleaned by using a cleaning brush and
applying the cleaning liquid to clean the exchanger, if necessary.
Boiler cover.
Door of the home.
Upper door for cleaning of exchanger.
Front cover for cleaning of the exchanger.
Cleaning brush.
Ecoforest Exchanger cleaner.
It is recommendable to calculate the frequency with which you clean the outlet cleaning considering the
hours of operation, thus avoiding ash saturation.
5.8.
Cleaning oulet.
You access to the cleaning outlet, which must be thoroughly cleaned, just like the collector of gas outlet,
since its proper operation will depend on a correct cleaning.
