5.1 Installation
To use the detector efficiently, the device should be installed at least 1.5 meters
above the ground and at least 1.85 meters away from the corresponding fuel-bur-
ning equipment.
The following areas should be avoided:
• Places where the temperature falls below -10 °C or rises above 40 °C
• Places with a damp environment
• Places with a lot of dust, dirt or grease deposits
• Behind curtains or furniture
• Positioning in / on air outlet of an oven
• Near fans or air conditioners
• Outside the building
• Directly above a wash basin or a stove
