Alternatively, you can put the CO detector at the place you desire. Select the loca-
tion so that the display can be clearly seen and the device does not topple over.
Please read chapters 6 and 6.1 in this user manual for pedestal assembly.
7. Trigger sensitivity
If the device records increased CO values, an alarm signal sounds and the red LED
starts blinking. At the same time the current CO value is displayed on the display
of the device. If the CO concentration is down to around 30 ppm, the device swit-
ches off the alarm. The product comes with a feature that detects a persistently
low CO concentration and alerts the user that there is the CO concentration is
low. If this case the device beeps 5 times every 5 minutes and the red LED blinks
5 times.
8. Normal operating mode
If no carbon monoxide is present, the green LED blinks every 50 seconds and the
display shows "0 PPM".
8.2 Test the carbon monoxide detector
Press the key "test/hush" on the front side of the device. It simulates now a high
CO concentration. The carbon monoxide detector detects the increased value, as
