Then press the "OK" key to start the test.
displayed as a countdown. The airline pressure, ambient temperature
and the oxygen content are displayed as well.
The status of the individual measurements is indicated on the display.
The spinning hour glasses indicate that the test is being carried out.
The check marks indicate that the tests are complete.
Once the test is complete, the flow control valve must be closed.
Enter the readings from the measurement results of the tubes or the
Impactor into the Dräger Aerotest 5000.

To enter the results press the relevant box on the display and use the
numeric display. Then press the
all other values.
Once all results have been entered, press the right arrow key. The
results entered can no longer be altered.
After the test is complete, the display automatically indicates whether
the test was a pass or fail. All measurement values determined during
the test are displayed. If the test was a fail, the criteria that do not fulfill
the standard are indicated by an alternating asterisk.
In EN 12021 for airline systems less than 40 bar, the pressure
dewpoint, i. e. the temperature at which water will begin to condense
into a liquid form in the airline, must be at least 5 °C below the lowest
temperature at which the system will be used.
The Dräger Aerotest 5000 automatically calculates the pressure
dewpoint from the entered water concentration and the system
pressure. The system compares this with the ambient temperature to
determine whether the test has been passed or not.
This test result is automatically recorded in the memory of the Dräger
Aerotest 5000. The test results are recorded according to the date
and time at which the corresponding test was completed. Up to 10
tests can be recorded. To view the test results, select the "Review
tests" menu from the main menu. Previous tests can be viewed or
deleted in this menu.

To disconnect the Dräger Aerotest 5000 from the air supply to be
tested, make sure that the inlet coupling remains connected to the
Dräger Aerotest 5000 and only disconnect it from the end of the air
supply hose. The adapters can then be removed from the Dräger
Aerotest 5000.
3.4.3
Testing an air supply of 200 bar or 300 bar (high pressure
systems)
The F 3002 pressure reducer with an inlet coupling for an input
pressure of 300 bar max. must be used for all high pressure tests.
When checking compressed air cylinders, the cylinder to be tested
must be completely filled.
If the compressed air cylinder is not completely filled, the measured
water concentration may be incorrect.
Select the required test program:
High-pressure cylinder ≤ 200 bar,
High-pressure cylinder > 200 bar,
High-pressure charging compressor.
Then select the method for the oil measurement and follow the menu
for the further procedure.
Make sure that the flow control valve is closed, then connect the
supplied hose to the pressure reducer and the air supply connection of
the Dräger Aerotest 5000. Next connect the F 3002 pressure reducer
to the cylinder to be tested, or the compressor. Use the connection
hose provided.
Open the cylinder valve of compressed air cylinders and check that the
compressed air cylinder is completely filled. The pressure indicated in
the display corresponds to the set cylinder pressure and must not
exceed 10 bar.

If the Dräger Aerotest 5000 is over-pressured an
overpressure warning is displayed and the unit will no longer
be able to perform tests. The Dräger Aerotest 5000 must be
sent to Dräger to be tested and readjusted.
