SSEMBLY OF THE
ULSE
- Reassemble by reversing the disassemby process as shown (7. Spare
parts exploded view).
- Assemble needle roller <45>/<72> into hydraulic cylinder <44>/<71>.
- Assemble o-ring <53>/<80> and support ring <54>/<81> on hydraulic
rotor <51>/<78>.
- Push fixture <E> over long side of shaft on hydraulic rotor (8. Assembly
instructions, fig. 2).
- Insert compression springs and blades over the slots of fixture <E> by
pressing them down and turning the hydraulic rotor into the hydraulic
rotor slots (8. Assembly instructions, fig. 3).
- Adjust control blade <50>/<77> (with long shaft end) towards slot in
fixture (fig. 4).
- Insert the preassembled parts into hydraulic cylinder <44>/<71> so that
needle roll <45>/<72> and slot met. Remove <E> (fig. 5-6).
- Mount disc <52>/<79> and positon over needle roll <45>/<72>.
Caution!
Mount disc so that larger internal diameter points towards
the rotor slots.
- Turn bearing ring <55>/<82> by hand into the hydraulic cylinder.
- Perform il filling according to 6.4.
- Close pulse unit by means of ball <57>/<84> and set bolt <58>/<85>
after oil filling.

ILLING
After the filling the pulse unit must be tightened to the
required torque.
- Remove the set bolt <58>/<85> and the ball <57>/<84>.
- Loosen threaded ring <55>/<82> by 180° (Necessary to ensure oil
reserve).
- Connect the pulse unit to the quick action coupling via connector <A2>
as shown on the drawing.
- Close the shut-off valve.

6.4.1 Supply air pressure approx. 5 bar.
6.4.2 Slowly open shut-off valve until pressure gauge shows <1 mbar (-
1 bar).
6.4.3 Wait approx. 2 minutes until air bubbles have escaped.
6.4.4 Now close shut-off valve slowly. Pressure gauge shows
atmospheric pressure again and missing oil is forced into the
pulse-unit.
6.4.5 Repeat filling procedure 6.4.2 to 6.4.4 if required.
6.4.6 Disconnect pulse unit from oil filler and turn out adapter. Add a few
drops of oil before assembling ball and screw-plug with syringe <B>.
- Tighten threaded ring by the required torque (260+40Nm) /reserve oil.

OTOR
SSEMBLY
Be sure to assemble the parts in the sequence shown on the
spare parts drawing.
- Install the O-ring <23> and the air distributor <24>.
- To be able to push the pin into the bore on the pistol grip housing <1>,
the radial auxiliary bore of the air distributor must be aligned with the
centre of the switch-over groove.
- Press the roller bearing <25> together with the rotor cover <26> onto the
rotor <30> using <D> (8. Assembly Instructions, figs. 8 + 9). Then
install it in the pistol grip housing.
- Assemble reverse button <12> and screw <13>.
- Insert rotor cylinder <28> with shear keys <27> into pistol grip housing.
- Insert the blades <29> into the rotor grooves.
- Mount ball bearing <32> into rotor cover <31> and fix them with circlip
<33>. Mount al into the pistol grip housing.
- Assemble sleeve <34>.
Caution!
When installing the screen <6>/<9>, be sure the circlip <7>/
<10> is lying flat on the screen.
