3 Function description
3�1 Scope of application
The SPT-R pumps are robust, wear-resistant
and lightweight dewatering pumps with agita-
tor head for pumping sandy rainwater, ground-
water or waste water. They can be used for va-
rious tasks in house, yard, garden, agriculture,
civil engineering, hydraulic engineering and
industry. Ideally suited for use by fire depart-
ments, disaster control and construction site
drainage.
If in doubt, contact SPT or an authorised dis-
tribution partner for the correct pump selection.

4 Transport and set-up
4�1 Transport
WARNING
Risk of overturning of the pump
Place the pump on a stable surface.

Secure the pump against falling over or

rolling away.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to breaking of the car-
rying handles
Before lifting the pump, check the carry-

ing handle for wear and damage.
The pump can be transported vertically or ho-
rizontally.
Always use the handle to transport the
f
pump.
Do not lift the pump by the motor cable or
f
hose.
