4. Align the clamp block with the handle
slot properly and then insert the clamp
block (Fig. 7d).
5. Mount the lock lever but do not press
the lock lever down, and then pre-
tighten the wing nut (Fig. 7e).
6. Adjust the front-assist handle position
within the mounting zone (Fig. 7f). The
handle should be adjusted so that your
arm is straight when using the pole
saw.
7. Press down the lock lever so that the front-assist handle is secured from rotation or
moving along the power head shaft (Fig. 7f).

ATTACHING THE SHOULDER STRAP
(Fig. 8)
For safe and comfortable operation, put
on the shoulder strap across the shoulder
to relieve the weight on the operator's
arms. Depress the carabiner to open it and
hook the carabiner onto the shoulder strap
loop. Adjust the shoulder strap length to a
comfortable operating position.
