The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use.

operAtion - Mounting
1. Place the water base on the plastic body and fill with approximately 1 litre of water. NEVER exceed this
amount as during the cooking process water may escape and cause scalding.
2. Settle the control panel with heating element into the plastic body ensuring that the cord is in the
recess.
3. Fix the grid into the slots of the grid height adjuster
4. Turn the appliance on.
5. The grilling times vary according to the nature of the food and to your personal taste.
6. When grilling has finished, turn the appliance off and disconnect the grill form the mains supply
socket.
Water must be filled between the max and min level as indicated on the housing. Too little water
will damage the heating element and too much water will cause boiling water to escape during the
boilingprocess
operAtion - before use for the first time
Clean the barbecue grill and its accessories.
When the barbecue is first switched on, the grill may emit a new smell. A small amount of smoke may
also be noticeable. We therefore recommend to heat the appliance for approx. 5 minutes without any
food. Ensure the room is well ventilated because of the bad smell of the coating material. Do not use this
appliance for grilling in the meantime.
cleAning And MAintenAnce
Clean the appliance after each use. Allow the appliane to cool down before cleaning. Always make sure
that the plug has been removed from the mains supply socket after use, before cleaning and storing.
Remove the heating element. Replace the heating element after cleaning. Never switch the heating
element on when it is not placed correctly into the appliance. Never immerse the heating element in water
or liquids. Clean the heating ele¬ment with a clean dry cloth only. Clean the grill rack and the tray with
warm soapy water and dry afterwards.
