SET UP & USE
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
•
Place fan on stable level surface. Plug fan into a properly grounded outlet.
•
Unplug the fan when not in use.
•
The fan can be operated using the buttons located on the unit or the remote
control.
•
To operate the fan, press the FAN SPEED button
through Low, Medium and High Fan settings to select a speed. The 4th selection
will put the unit in standby mode and the blades will not rotate.
•
Press and hold the FAN SPEED button
operating.
•
Press the OSCILLATE button
(Low, Medium and High) and OSCILLATE. When the OSCILLATE function is
selected, the corresponding indicator light will illuminate and the fan will begin
to turn back and forth horizontally.
•
When the fan is powered on, press the TIMER button
hours for the fan to automatically shut off. Continuously press the TIMER button
to scroll through 1, 2, 4 and 8 hours. The corresponding LED lights will illuminate.
For example when the 4 hour and the and 8 hour selections are both illuminated
at the same time, the shut off time will be 12 hours.
ADJUSTING THE TILT ANGLE: To adjust the air flow upward or downward, push the
grill section lightly to the desired direction.
REMOTE CONTROL
•
Point the remote control at the receiver on body of the fan and press the desired
button.
•
The remote control will work at distances up to roughly 16 feet (5 meters) and an
angle of 30 degrees left and right of the control panel.
