9. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
El motor no arranca.
No power at AC outlets

Check the battery
Check the position of the
control knobs.
Check fuel.
Remove and check spark
plugs.
Contact an authorised
workshop or consult the
manual.
AC circuit breaker

Possible cause
Battery discharged.
Fuel valve OFF.
Choke open.
Engine switch off.
No fuel.
Bad fuel, engine was stored
carelessly, old fuel.
Problematic spark plug.
Spark plug wet with fuel
(choked engine).
Fuel filter clogged, carburettor
malfunctioning, ignition mal-
functioning, valve sticking, etc.
AC circuit breaker in off
position.
Faulty device
Generator problem

Solution
Charge the battery.
Move the lever to ON.
Turn the choke to closed
unless the engine is hot.
Turn switch on.
Refuel.
Drain tank and
carburettor. Refuel with
fresh gasoline.
Adjust gap or replace
spark plugs.
Dry and reinstall. Start
engine with throttle on
fast.
Replace or repair problem
part.
Turn to ON position.
Check and repair the
device if necessary.
