De magnetron mag niet worden ondergedompeld in water of andere vloeistoffen, onder stromend water worden gehouden of worden gebruikt in vochtige ruimtes, omdat dit een elektrische schok tot gevolg kan hebben.

  • Página 50  Gebruik uitsluitend in de handel verkrijgbare popcornverpak- kingen waarop staat aangegeven dat ze bedoeld zijn voor het maken van popcorn in de magnetron.  Overschrijd nooit de door de fabrikant aangegeven berei- dingstijden.  Bewaar geen levensmiddelen of andere voorwerpen in de ovenruimte.
  • Página 51  Prik of snijd levensmiddelen met een gesloten vel, zoals to- maten, worstjes, aubergines en dergelijke, vóór het garen in om te voorkomen dat het vel openbarst.  Bij het openen van magnetronverpakkingen (bijvoorbeeld popcornzakken en blikken) komt er hete stoom naar buiten. Houd bij het openen van de verpakking de opening altijd van u af.

Gevaar voor letsel! Er bestaat gevaar voor letsel door elektrische schokken en microgolfstraling. Bij beschadiging van het apparaat kan door een lekkage microgolfstraling naar buiten komen.
