5 Finishing the prothesis
Attention!
The tightening torque for the adjusting screws is 14 Nm with the
173P11 Torque Wrench, calibrated.
6 Technical Notes
Attention!
Please take special care, that the 3A900 and 3A900/1 Kneejoint
are not exposed to chemicals and substances such as acids, dust
or sand!
After each use in salt- or chlorinated (pool) water, the
prosthesis must be thoroughly rinsed with fresh water. In
addition, the prosthesis should be dried after rinsing.
Failure to observe these instructions will make any claims against
Streifeneder ortho.production GmbH null and void.
Please inform your prosthesis wearer accordingly!
7 Maintenance and service
Attention!
The 3A900 and 3A900/1 knee joint must not be disassembled.
The 3A900 KINEGEN.wave knee joint must be checked for contamination
and function after 6 months. The knee joint must be checked annually for
wear and functionality and readjusted if necessary.
If necessary, clean the knee joint (not with compressed air) and adjust it
again. increased noise occur, please send the knee joint to Streifeneder
ortho.production GmbH for maintenance. Excessive wear of the bump stops
can impair their function.
