Mount bike carrier on towbar
Before mounting the bike carrier on the towbar, make yourself familiar with the quick release fas-
tening system. See figures.
Put the bike carrier with open quick release fastening on top of the vehicle towbar. Then push the
lever of the quick release fastening down until the lever locks in place. See figure 4. Now lock the
quick release fastening with the key and extract the key. Keep the key on a safe place. Now the bike
rack is also protected against theft. Check firm and correct fitting of the bike carrier on the towbar.
If the carrier can still be moved slightly from side to side, remove the bike carrier from the towbar
and turn the adjusting screw (located at the side of the quick release fastening) by loosening the
locknut beforehand. Then retighten the locknut. If necessary repeat the process until the carrier is
mounted tightly. Finally put the cover cap on the quick release fastening. See figure 5.
