humidity, it may seem that the outdoor temperature is warmer than the actual temperature (this is the heat
index).
The dew point is the temperature to which the air must be cooled before the process of vapor condensing into
liquid (dew) begins.
If there is a
symbol in this segment, the message panel displays the following time-stamped data: maximum
and minimum indoor temperature for the current day, maximum and minimum indoor temperature since the
last reset, maximum and minimum indoor humidity for the current day, maximum and minimum indoor
humidity since the last reset.
Precipitation
If there is a
symbol in this segment, pressing SET will display the following data:
Rain intensity: amount of precipitation in the last 60 minutes.
Rain period: A period of precipitation where the rain intensity has not dropped to 0. For example,
if it rains for 10 minutes, the rain event will display values for the 10-minute period. And if it rains
continuously for 4.5 hours, the values will apply to the entire 4.5-hour period.
Day: rainfall over a 24-hour period from 00:00 to 23:59.
Week: rainfall over a 7-day period from Sunday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59.
Month: total precipitation from the first day of the month to the last day of the month, e.g. January
1st to January 31st.
Year: the amount of precipitation for the calendar year from January 1 to December 31.
Total: total rainfall since power on or last reset.
If there is a
symbol in this segment, the message panel displays the following time-stamped data:
maximum rain intensity for the current day, maximum rain intensity since the last reset, maximum rainfall for
the current day, week, month, year.
Setup mode
In main mode, hold SET for 2 seconds to enter setup mode. Press
time setup, unit setup, recording interval setup, rainy season setup, barometer setup, button sound setup,
calibration setup, transmitter ID.
When the screen displays your desired function, press
is done with
/
(Up/down). To increase/decrease numbers in large increments, hold the corresponding
button for 2 seconds. To exit setup mode, press HISTORY or wait 30 seconds for the device to return to main
mode.
Time setup
Use
(Right) to enter the submenu: time format (12/24 hours), date format (MM-DD-YYYY/DD-MM-YYYY/
YYYY-MM-DD), time and date setup (manual), hemisphere setting for moon phase display (Northern/Southern).
Unit setup
After entering the setup mode, press
submenu: light unit selection (lux, FC, W/m²), temperature unit selection (°C, °F), pressure unit selection
(hPa, inHg, mmHg), wind speed unit selection (km/h, mph, knots, m/s, Beaufort rating (bft)), precipitation
unit selection (mm, inches).
Recording interval setup
Press
(Left) twice to enter recording interval setup mode. Then press
Use
(Up) and
(Down) to select the desired recording.
Rainy season setup
Press
(Left) 3 times to enter the rainy season setup. Then press
selecting the rainy season months. Use
December.
The rainy season is the time when most of the region's average annual rainfall occurs. The rainy season
influences the maximum, minimum and total annual precipitation. When one month is selected, total annual
precipitation and annual maximum/minimum precipitation are reset to zero at 00:00 on the first day of the
selected month.
