When replacing batteries: Apply a corrosion inhibitor, available at most hardware stores, to the battery
terminals.
In snowy conditions
Spray the top of the weather station with anti-icing silicone spray to prevent snow accumulation.
Troubleshooting
The outdoor sensor does not communicate with the console, the (−) icon is on the console display
Check the LED indicator on the multisensor.
If the sensor does not blink every 48 seconds:
Replace batteries.
If the batteries have recently been replaced, check their polarity.
If the sensor does blink every 48 seconds:
Make sure your console has new batteries.
After placing the console within 3 m of the multi-sensor, remove the batteries from the console
for 10 seconds.
Do not press any buttons for several minutes.
The remote sensor search icon
disappears. If the search icon disappears and the display still shows (−) instead of temperature and
humidity data, the multisensor is most likely faulty.
Preventing unstable wireless connections issues
Install fresh batteries in the multisensor and console. In cold environments, lithium batteries are
recommended.
The maximum line of sight range is 100m, but due to environmental conditions, the actual range in most
cases is less than 30m. Move the sensor and console closer to each other.
If the sensor is too close (less than 1.5m), move it away from the console.
Make sure the signal does not pass through metal, such as aluminum siding (which acts as an RF shield)
or ground obstructions (such as a hill).
Move your console away from sources of electromagnetic noise such as computers, televisions, and other
wireless transmitters or receivers.
Move the multisensor to a higher location or closer to the console.
The temperature sensor shows too high a temperature during the day
Make sure the multisensor is installed in a shaded area on the north side of the wall.
The temperature indoors and outdoors does not match
Give the sensors time to stabilize due to signal filtering, which may take up to 1 hour. Indoor and outdoor
temperature sensors should match within 2°C (sensor accuracy ±1°C).
Perform temperature calibration.
The humidity indoors and outdoors does not match
Give the sensors time to stabilize due to signal filtering, which may take up to 1 hour. Indoor and outdoor
humidity sensors should match within 10% (sensor accuracy ±5%).
Perform humidity calibration (see Section 2.1).
Relative pressure does not correspond to official data
Double-check pressure calibration with an official weather station.
The barometer is accurate within ±2mmHg in the following relative pressure range: from 689mmHg to
825mmHg, which corresponds to an altitude from −670m to 823m above sea level. Errors may occur at
high altitudes
Time is not displayed correctly
Make sure your time zone and daylight saving time settings are set correctly.
Weather forecast icon is inaccurate
The device must work for several days to monitor changes in pressure. Please remember that the
forecast provided by the device is only a summary of weather changes over the next 24 to 48 hours and
should not be used as an accurate way to predict the weather.
Moon phase is not displayed correctly
will flash on the screen. Wait a few minutes until this icon
