Use caution when blending in a container, pot, pan, and on the stove
NEVER detach the wand or whisk from the motor base while the unit is plugged in. Unplug the unit before removing attachments.
1.
Test the power cord GFCI BEFORE each use:
a. Plug the power cord GFCI into a non-GFCI power outlet and verify the red indicator light is ON.
b. Press the TEST button and verify the red indicator light is OFF.
c. Press the RESET button and check if the red indicator light is ON.
• If the GFCI passes the test, then the GFCI plug is working properly.
• If the GFCI continues tripping after power is restored, there might be a risk of electric leakage.

Ensure the immersion blender motor is unplugged.

Attach the motor assembly to the blending wand or whisk attachment by lining up the channels and
making a one quarter turn counter-clockwise until secure. Turn clockwise to remove the wand or
whisk from the motor assembly.
WARNING! Use caution when blending in a container, pots, and pans. Remove pot/pan from heat
before blending.

Place food to be processed into a 20 quart/5 gallon mixing bowl, container, or saucepan.
The unit is designed to blend between 12 quarts/3 gallons to 68 quarts/17 gallons.
NOTE: The container should only be half full or less when blending liquids or when making a puree of fruit
and/or vegetables.

5.
Install the pot clip (if being used) onto the powered off immersion blender by placing it through the
pot clip front groove. The weight of the appliance holds it in the pot clip. Then fully seat the pot rim
into the pot clip notch.
