Overload / Overheat indication - Allow the immersion blender to cool down for a few minutes before using again. Inspect the blending blades for looseness or damage.
NEVER use an immersion blender with damaged blending blades. Contact Vitamix Commercial Technical Support immediately at 800.886.5235 for instructions.
Locked rotor - If the blending blades get jammed against a hard ingredient such as an ice cube of a frozen piece of fruit, the blender will automatically try to increase power
and break free. If this does not happen, the motor will stop and the Speed Selection button will flash quickly. Unplug the cord to clear the error and reset the unit.
Clear the error and reset the unit by following these instructions:
1. Release the trigger switch.
2. Unplug the power cord from the wall (required to reset the unit).
3. Remove the blending wand from the motor body.
4. Use a spatula to dislodge the food. NEVER use fingers as blending blades are sharp.
The Immersion Blender will flash a pattern of LEDs to indicate there is an error and protect the electronics and motor.
