If you want to stop the coffee maker while it's brewing, press the X button.

HOTPLATE

The hotplate will keep the coffee warm for 40 minutes.
During this time, the X on the display will flash.

After 40 minutes, the hotplate will shut down. Press any button to wake the appliance.
To switch the appliance off manually, press the X button.

After about 40 minutes, chemical changes will affect the taste of the coffee.
A QUICK CUP

You can remove the carafe at any time.
•
To prevent the filter holder overflowing, replace the carafe on the hotplate within about 20 seconds.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1.
Unplug the appliance and let it cool.
2.
Use the grip to open the lid.
3.
Use the handles on the sides of the filter holder to lift it out.
4.
Tip the contents of the filter holder into the bin.
5.
Hand wash the carafe and filter holder.
6.
Press the lever at the rear of the carafe lid, above the handle, to open the carafe lid.
7.
Clean the outside surfaces of the appliance with a damp cloth.
8.
Align the tab at the back of the filter holder with the slot at the back of the coffee maker, and lower
the filter holder back into the coffee maker.
9.
Close the lid.
¬ You may wash these parts in the top rack of a dishwasher.
Descale regularly, (at least monthly).
Descale the appliance at least monthly with a proprietary descaler. Follow the instructions on the package
of descaler.
Products returned under guarantee with faults due to scale will be subject to a repair charge.
