3.4 Intended use
The HCS T1/HCS T2 sensor is designed for measuring the degree of maturity and the temperature of early-
age concrete and transmitting the data by Long-Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) technology or
Bluetooth to the Hilti Concrete Sensors application. The sensors remain as lost parts in the concrete. In
order for the data to be accessed, a connection has to be established with the gateway or a mobile device
before the sensors are positioned in the concrete.
