7. Mark the positions of all the sensors on a room plan with name.
▶ Optional: Create a room plan in the app and mark all the positions on the digital room plan.
8. Select the concrete placement operation that belongs to the sensor.
9. Select "Add sensor" (for Android users: Use the plus sign (+) to add a new sensor).
▶ Android systems → Use the plus sign (+) to add a new sensor
10. Scan the QR code of the sensor.
11. Enter the name of the sensor and save your entries.
12. Secure each sensor by at least two attachment points at reinforcing bar intersections or reinforcing mat
intersections (for security).
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the QR code is facing up. Do not step on installed sensors. Do not
install a sensor where it will be deeper than 15 cm below the surface of the concrete.
13. In the case of sensors with cable and of temperature sensors, make sure that the broad end (wireless
transmitter) is facing toward the surface of the concrete and will not be deeper than 15 cm below the
surface of the concrete.
14. Wrap the cable round the reinforcing bar so that the cable cannot be pulled out during concrete
placement.
15. Install the temperature sensors at a selected monitoring point and secure the cable to the reinforcing bar.
16. Place the concrete.
17. The data are automatically accessed and refreshed by the gateway. The gateway collects the data from
all the sensors connected to the gateway.
▶ Repeat data access for each of the sensors installed.
18. To refresh the data: Approach to within range of the sensor again.
▶ Repeat data refresh for each of the sensors installed.
19. Connect the sensors as often as necessary to observe progress.
The sensors save all data internally for a battery runtime (approx. 2 years) and in the app as soon
as the data have been collected.
