DC connector assembly procedure.

Select the suitable photovoltaic cable:

Insert the DC cable through the DC connector nut on the

metal terminal and press the terminal with professional
crimping pliers (pull the cable to check if the terminal is
well connected to the cable), as shown in Fig. 19:

Insert the positive and negative cables into the corre-

sponding positive and negative connectors, pull the DC
cable to make sure that the terminal is well connected
to the connector.
Use an open-end wrench to screw the nut all the way in

and make sure that the terminal is sealed well, as shown
in Fig. 20:

Use the special wrenches for
MC4 connectors to ensure
that the correct tightening
torque is applied, without
damaging the connectors.

Before assembling the DC connector, make sure that the
cable has the correct polarity.
Warning
Use a  multimeter to measure the DC input string
voltage, check the polarity of the DC input cable, and make sure
that the voltage of each string is under the maximum voltage
specified in the "Tab. 16. Technical features.".

To ensure an optimal connection,
use an approved tool to crimp
the terminals.
