Emergency stop and protection:
The appliance is equipped with a protection device to stop the appliance from running in
case of emergency. The device can be triggered in the following cases:
In COOL mode (11) if:
room temperature is above 43°C.
room temperature is below 15°C.
In DEHUMIDIFIER mode (14) if:
room temperature is below 15°C.
Remarks:
3 minutes should be allowed for before the appliance is restarted, or before operation
mode is changed from one to another.
The appliance will be put to original operation mode after replugging. Timer will need
to be reset.
RECOMMENDATIONS IN CASE THE APPLIANCE IS
NOT USED
1. If the appliance is not used for prolonged periods, make sure that it is safely unplug-
ged. Otherwise, electric shock or fire may occur.
2. Drain out all the water and use a soft cloth to clean the water bucket.
3. Clean the air filter.
4. Cover the appliance to prevent dust build-up. Store the appliance vertically in a cool
and dry place.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution: turn off the appliance before disconnecting from power supply.
Appliance maintenance
- Cut off the power supply.
- Wipe the appliance with a soft and dry cloth. Use lukewarm water to clean if the
appliance is very dirty.
- Never use volatile substances such as gasoline or polishing powder to clean the
appliance.
- Never sprinkle or pour water directly onto the main unit.
Air filter maintenance
It is necessary to clean the air filter after using it for about 100 hours. Clean it as follows:
- Switch off the appliance and cut the power supply. Remove the air filter located at the
back of the air conditioner.
- Clean and reinstall the air filter in the dedicated compartment.
If it is really dirty, wash the filter with a solution of detergent in lukewarm water. After
cleaning, dry it in a shaded and cool place, then reinstall it.
Clean the air filter every two weeks if the air conditioner operates in an extremely dusty
environment.
