SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Warning: to avoid any risk of fire, electric shock or injury, read these instructions
carefully before using the appliance and keep for future reference when you need it.
• This appliance is designed solely for domestic use. Any other use (professional,
commercial, etc.) is forbidden.
• Only use this appliance for the purpose of meal preparation.
• Before plugging the appliance in, check that the network voltage corresponds
correctly to that on the specifications plate on the bottom of the appliance.
• Always plug your appliance into an easily accessible socket.
• This appliance is not designed for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, mental or sensory abilities, or people with no prior experience
or knowledge of this appliance, unless they have been given prior supervision and
instruction concerning this appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• It is recommended that children be supervised to ensure that they do not play with
the appliance.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is plugged in.
• Be careful not to use this appliance outside and store it in a dry place.
• Always disconnect the blender from the mains if left unattended and before assembling,
disassembling or cleaning: Do not let children use the blender without supervision.
• When unplugging the power cable, always remove using the plug and never pull
on the cable itself.
• Each time you use the appliance, first check that the appliance is in good condition.
• Never immerse the appliance, power cable or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Do not use the appliance:
– if the plug or power cable is damaged.
– In case of malfunction:
– if the appliance has been damaged in any way,
– if it has been dropped,
– if the motor unit has fallen in water.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the retailer,
their after-sales service or a qualified professional in order to avoid any danger.
• Switch the appliance off and disconnect from the mains before changing the
accessories or touching moving parts when being used.
• Never move the appliance while it is functioning.
• Do not handle the appliance or the plug with wet hands.
• To avoid making the appliance fall, ensure that the power cable cannot
accidentally get caught.
