CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning your blender, move the on/off button to
position "0" (off) and unplug the appliance from the mains.
Never immerse the motor unit, power cable or plug in water or any
other liquid.
• Immediately rinse all parts after use in order to facilitate cleaning.
• Wipe the motor unit with a soft, slightly damp sponge and then dry carefully
with a soft cloth. Difficult stains can be removed using a damp sponge and,
if necessary, a small amount of non-abrasive cleaning product (washing up liquid
for example).
• The removable parts (lid with feeder flap and mixing jug) must be washed by hand
in warm water with washing up liquid.
NOTE: The flap is part of the lid: do not attempt to remove it.
• To rinse the mixing jug quickly (between two mixtures, for example),
operate the blender with a little clean water for a few seconds. In this case, do not
use detergent.
• To clean the mixing jug thoroughly, pour a little warm water into the jug and
add a few drops of washing up liquid. Operate the appliance for a few seconds,
then rinse the jug in clean water. Then wipe it carefully using a soft, dry cloth.
Ensure that the mixing jug is perfectly dry before replacing it on the motor unit.
Do not attempt to remove the blades fitted to the mixing jug. For safety reasons,
these are not removable.
The blades are sharp. Take special care, special precautions must be taken while
adding and removing mixtures to and from the jug as well as when cleaning
the jug.
• Do not place any parts in a dishwasher.
• Do not immerse the different parts in boiling liquid.
• Never use scouring pads or abrasive cleaning products to clean it.
